STATEMENT OF FAITH

1. We believe there is one God who lives forever in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
2. We believe that the Bible is God's Word to the world, speaking to us with authority and without error.
3. We believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ the Son, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His death for us on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Father, and in His personal physical return to rule the earth in power and love.
4. We believe that all mankind is lost in sin and selfishness and needs to turn from it and trust personally in the Saviour, Jesus Christ, being born anew by the Holy Spirit's power into God's family.
5. We believe the Holy Spirit lives in us as believers and brings love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control into our lives. He works in and through us with His charismatic gifts.
6. We believe in the resurrection of every person; to eternal life for the believer and eternal judgement for the lost.
7. We believe in unity for all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and seek community together: to become more like Him in every way, who is the head of His body, the Church. We are called to love Him and one another and are enabled to do this only as His life flows in and through us

OUR FOCUS

The heart of man is central. Rules and regulations do not work. It is only through a transformed heart that lasting change occurs. The source of all life is the Father's Love. In Christ, we can experience the love of the Father, as Jesus did, through the heart of sonship. We live and breath through Jesus. The life that we live, is no longer ours but His flowing in us. This is the source of all true character & anointing. God is spirit and He contains the essence of both biblical masculinity and femininity. It takes both men and women to fully reflect the true image of God.We are all on a journey of becoming like Jesus as we experience more and more of the Father's love.

BRIEF HISTORY OF "FATHERHEART MINISTRIES"

1977: Jordan’s meet Jack and Dorothy Winter as Bible School Lecturers, who were coming into a new revelation of the Father.

1978-9: Jordan’s spend over a year with Daystar Ministries in the USA receiving this revelation.

1984: James begins to travel itinerantly around New Zealand and the Pacific nations preaching on the Father.

1980-94: Jordan’s work in several ministries growing in the revelation of the Father.

1997: Jordan’s join Jack Winter as itinerant ministries taking on the name “Fatherheart Ministries”.

1998-2003: Jordan’s travel initially with, but more and more parallel to, Jack speaking on the Father 200–350 times a year in over 40 nations, on the road 7-9 months a year.

1999: Birthing of ‘The Father’s Love Forum’ (a yearly gathering of ministry people from many nations)

2004: FHM schools are pioneered and eight are held in five nations in the first two years.

2004: We establish Charitable Trust status in New Zealand and the UK and buy properties to develop a Ministry Centre in Taupo, New Zealand.

2006: The first FHM school was held in New Zealand in May of 2006.
