WELCOME TO FATHERHEART MINISTRIES
Fatherheart Ministries is dedicated to taking the reality of God's love - expressed as both a Father's & a Mother's love - to every corner of the world. While many of us have been taught about the love of God, it is another thing altogether to personally experience his relentless pursuit and the love that fills every void in our hearts. We desire to see people encounter the heart of the Father for themselves, receive an impartation of his love and be released into true freedom.
Over the last few hundred years there has been an unfolding revelation about the persons of the Trinity. With Luther’s reformation of grace there came fresh revelation of Jesus Christ and all that he accomplished on the cross. In the 1900s there came revelation of the Holy Spirit as Pentecostal revivals broke out. We believe that we are now in the time of the revelation of the Father & Mother heart of God. Since the 'The Father’s Blessing' outpouring that began in 1994 in Toronto, there has been a growing openess to this biblical revelation across the church.
Since Jesus’ whole life came out of his intimacy with his father, we believe that to be truly free like Christ, is to have an intimate relationship with our Father. This is what Jesus made possible for us on the cross.
Fatherheart Ministries was formed in 1997 when we (James and Denise Jordan) joined up with Jack and Dorothy Winter from the USA. Back in 1977 while in New Zealand with us, Jack had received a revelation that the Father’s love could be imparted and bring deep healing to people’s hearts. For the next twenty five years Jack was a spiritual father to us, and in 2002 he passed joyfully into the Lord’s presence knowing he had fulfilled the vision the Lord had given him.
We started to teach and preach the Fatherheart of God back in 1980 and in 1997 we stepped out full time into international itinerant ministry. In 2004 we formed “Mangatera Charitable Trust” with Jan and Sandra Rijnbeek and our Ministry Centre in Taupo, New Zealand was established. Today we offer conferences, forums and 1-week Fatherheart Schools internationally, as well a 3-month School here in New Zealand. We are also part of Partners in Harvest, the network of churches connected with Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship.
Our desire is that every person on the earth personally experience the Father's love for themselves, and to see the revelation of the Father’s love go to every country, culture, stream and denomination.
The Eden Centre:
The Eden Centre is the ministry base of Fatherheart Ministries and the headquarters of the Fatherheart Worldwide Commission. Situated in the lakeside town of Taupo in New Zealand's central North Island, the centre is surrounded by 5 acres of beautiful gardens and includes a peaceful prayer hut. Pristine rivers and snow capped mountains are a short drive away. Seasonal activities includes mountain climbing, hiking, fresh water trout fishing, water-skiing, hunting, skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, canoeing and even bungy jumping and skydiving!
