Fatherheart Ministries vision is to take the revelation of the Father and His love, to every nation, every stream of Christianity; every people group and every individual in the world.

James and Denise Jordan: James was a professional hunter in New Zealand when he found Christ in 1972. Since 1976 he has served the Lord in several full time capacities (Church planting, Bible School Lecturing, Pastoring, Rehabilitation Counselling). In 1979 he had a powerful personal experience with God as his Father that forever changed his relationship with and understanding of Him, and put him on this path of ministry - continually growing in a father-son relationship with Him. In 1997 the church he was pastoring - Hillside Community Church, Auckland - released him to minister itinerantly wherever the Lord would lead. Since then he has travelled the world several times over, ministering throughout Australia and New Zealand, the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, USA and South America, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea and South Africa. James is a prophetic teacher and a gifted storyteller. In these days he sees God revealing himself to us as Father in a way unprecedented since the time of the Apostles. James and Denise are also part of Partners in Harvest, the network of churches connected with Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship.

Denise is a true mother in the Body of Christ. She ministers out of compassion and wisdom, and has a deep desire to see the Church receive an experience of the love of the Father that will bring them into a place of wholeness and healing. Denise also has a passion for women. With 25 years of Pastoral Counselling and Church-Planting experience, one of her desires is to equip and take teams of women to minister to women in the poorer nations. She believes that if women can really be healed and set free, they become the key to bringing healing and life to those around her. Her desire is to take Father's love into these areas of oppression, to love, heal, empower and release them into their callings and destiny. Denise is called to be a Mother to the Nations and has impacted many people around the world today. As a pioneer in the revelation of the Mother Heart of God, she brings strong, Biblically based teaching on mankind being made in the image of God as both male and female - and how it is only when we understand what true femininity and masculinity are, can we know what it means to be made in His image.

Denise is the mother of two sons, one daughter, and five wonderful grandchildren

OUR FOCUS

While many of us have known about the Father's love, it is quite another thing to actually walk in the Father's love. To truly walk in love, the heart of man is central, because we experience love from our hearts. Rules and regulations do not work, as it is only through a heart transformed by love that lasting change occurs.

The source of all life is the Father's Love. In Christ, we can experience the love of the Father, just as Jesus did, through the heart of sonship. We live and breath through Jesus. The life that we live, is no longer ours but His flowing in us. This is the source of all true character & anointing. God is spirit and He contains the essence of both true masculinity and femininity. It takes both men and women to fully reflect the true image of God. We are all on a journey of becoming like Jesus, as we experience more and more of the Father's love.

Throughout church history, God has been revealing more of his nature to mankind each generation. During the Reformation, salvation by faith in Jesus was restored to us. During the Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements, the infilling and supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit was restored to us.

Today, God is revealing himself as 'Abba' Father to us, restoring deep into our hearts the Papa's Love and our place in all of creation, as beloved sons and daughters who can walk with the same freedom from earthly limitations as Jesus did.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

1. We believe there is one God who lives forever in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2. We believe that the Bible is God's Word to the world, speaking to us with authority and without error.

3. We believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ the Son, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His death for us on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Father, and in His personal physical return to rule the earth in power and love.

4. We believe that all mankind is lost in sin and selfishness and needs to turn from it and trust personally in the Saviour, Jesus Christ, being born anew by the Holy Spirit's power into God's family.

5. We believe the Holy Spirit lives in us as believers and brings love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control into our lives. He works in and through us with His charismatic gifts.

6. We believe in the resurrection of every person; to eternal life for the believer and eternal judgement for the lost.

7. We believe in unity for all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and seek community together: to become more like Him in every way, who is the head of His body, the Church. We are called to love Him and one another and are enabled to do this only as His life flows in and through us.

BRIEF HISTORY OF "FATHERHEART MINISTRIES"

1977: Jordan’s meet Jack and Dorothy Winter, who were coming into a new revelation of the Father's Love.

1978-9: Jordan’s spend over a year with Daystar Ministries in the USA receiving this revelation.

1984: James begins to travel itinerantly around New Zealand and the Pacific nations preaching on the Father.

1980-94: Jordan’s work in several ministries growing in the revelation of the Father.

1997: Jordan’s join Jack Winter as itinerant ministries taking on the name “Fatherheart Ministries”.

1998-2003: Jordan’s travel initially with, but more and more parallel to, Jack speaking on the Father 200–350 times a year in over 40 nations, on the road 7-9 months a year.

1999: Birthing of ‘The Father’s Love Forum’ (a yearly gathering of ministry people from many nations)

2004: FHM schools are pioneered and eight are held in five nations in the first two years.

2004: We establish Charitable Trust status in New Zealand and the UK and buy properties to develop a Ministry Centre in Taupo, New Zealand.

2006: The first New Zealand FHM school was held in May of 2006.
