Fatherheart Ministries is a charitable trust directed by James & Denise Jordan. Their vision is to take the prophetic revelation of the Father's love, to every nation, every type of Christianity; every people group and every individual in the world.

 

James Jordan was a professional hunter in New Zealand. He had a powerful personal experience with God as his Father that began thirty years ago which forever changed his relationship with God and put him on this path of prophetic ministry since 1976. He has since travelled the world many times over, ministering throughout Australia and New Zealand, the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, USA and South America, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea and South Africa. James is a gifted Prophetic Teacher and Storyteller. In these days he sees God revealing himself to us as Father in a way unprecedented since the time of the Apostles.

Denise Jordan is a true mother in the Body of Christ. She ministers out of compassion and wisdom, and has a deep desire to see the world receive an experience of the love of the Father that will bring them into a place of wholeness and healing. As a pioneer in the revelation of the 'Mother Heart of God', she brings strong, Biblically based teaching on mankind being made in the image of God as both male and female - and how it is only when we understand what true femininity and masculinity are, can we know what it means to be made in His image.

Our Focus

While many of us have known about the God the Father's love, it is quite another thing to actually walk in the Father's love. To truly walk in love, the heart of man is central, because we experience love from our hearts. Rules and regulations do not work, as it is only through a heart transformed by love that lasting change occurs.

The source of all life is actually the Father's Love.  In Christ, we can experience this love of the Father, just as Jesus did, through the 'heart of sonship'. We live and breath through Jesus. The life that we live, is no longer ours but His flowing in us. This is the source of all true character & anointing. God is spirit and He contains the essence of both true masculinity and femininity. It takes both men and women to fully reflect the true image of God. We are all on a journey of becoming like Jesus, as we experience more and more of the Father's love.

Throughout church history, God has been revealing more of his nature to mankind each generation. During the Reformation, salvation by faith in Jesus was restored to us. During the Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements, the infilling and supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit was restored to us.

Today, God is revealing himself as 'Abba' Father to us, restoring deep into our hearts the Papa's Love and our place in all of creation, as beloved sons and daughters who can walk with the same freedom from earthly limitations as Jesus did.

BRIEF HISTORY OF "FATHERHEART MINISTRIES"

1977: Jordan’s meet Jack and Dorothy Winter, who were coming into a new revelation of the Father's Love.

1978-9: Jordan’s spend over a year with Jack and Dorothy Winter Daystar Ministries in the USA receiving this revelation. Jack Winter's ministry had a tremendous influence on TACF and YWAM.

1984: James begins to travel itinerantly around New Zealand and the Pacific nations preaching on the Father.

1980-94: Jordan’s work in several churches & ministries growing in the revelation of the Father.

1994: The Toronto Outpouring - signaling the start of a new era with God revealing His love, specifically a 'Father's Love' to the church worldwide. John Arnott calls this revival, the 'Father's Blessing'.

1997: Jordan’s join Jack Winter as itinerant ministries taking on the name “Fatherheart Ministries”.

1998-onwards: Jordan’s travel initially with, but more and more parallel to, Jack speaking on the Father 200–350 times a year in over 40 nations, on the road 7-9 months a year.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

1. We believe there is one God who lives forever in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
2. We believe that the Bible is God's Word to the world, speaking to us with authority and without error.
3. We believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ the Son, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His death for us on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Father, and in His personal physical return to rule the earth in power and love.
4. We believe that all mankind is living in an 'orphaned' and therefore 'fallen' condition and the Father has come to be a real Father to us. God has redeemed us by Jesus Christ the first-born son, so that we can also be reborn by the Holy Spirit's infilling, into God's family as real sons and daughters.
5. We believe the Holy Spirit lives in us, who works through us with spiritual gifts. More than that, the Holy Spirit is the actual spirit of the Father, poured into us, changing our very nature forever and enabling us to partake of the 'divine nature' (2 Pet 1:4).
6. We believe in the resurrection of every person; to eternal life for all who believe.
7. We believe in the brotherhood/sisterhood of all believers and seek community together. We believe that as we are becoming more like Him in every way, the Church will finally be the manifestation of Father's love to the world.
